Have you ever see anyone so angry while eating chocolate ice cream? She's tired poor girl... And cutting teeth. She did give it the ol college try.

Sunshine For a Day!

We had a GORGEOUS day last week and the girls and I spent almost the entire day in the yard. Ruby and Lucy watered the garden and dug in the dirt and played with their water table. It was glorious!

Lucy currently has 5 teeth coming up -- 4 molars and a bottom front tooth. It's no wonder she's been a bit of a fuss budget the past few days!

Faces of Lucy

Lucy has some awesome facial expressions. Here are a few:
Where are the graaaaaaaaaaaaaapes!??!???!???
I just unwound an entire roll of toilet paper.
Look, you and I both know who's really in charge. Here's a hint. It's not you.

Spring Days

We had a couple of brief glimpses of the summer to come and it was glorious! The girls and I took a trip to the zoo. Ruby's two requests were that we go see the gorillas (aka Koko) and that we go to the bughouse. She was very interested to see the termites, just like the ones at our house! (EEK!)
It was a gorgeous summer-like day (high 60's!) and we went to the neighbors for some sandbox fun. We even got a special visit from Grandpa Jack, who was in town for a conference! Lucy is ready for summer!

Easter Time

The Easter Bunny was pretty good to our girls. After leaving an offering of carrots (which he gobbled up), he left them two baskets of delight. The awoke at the crack of dawn (ok so it was like 8:30) to see what treasures he left. Upon seeing her basket, Ruby exclaimed that she "loved this day!" and then they both proceeded to eat a mountain of sugar. Lucy was especially fond of the peeps. Uncle Harlan and Auntie Danielle came over for breakfast and a viewing of Tangled and that night we shared a splendid meal with our friends Clint and Malia. It was a good day.
